President Bhandari paying an official visit to UAE on Nov 13-16

Kathmandu, Nov 11 (RSS): President Bidya Devi Bhandari is embarking on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 13 to 16 November at the cordial invitation of UAE’s Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and UAE’s Armed Forces’ deputy supreme commander, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The President and Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince will hold an official meeting on November 14. The President is also scheduled to visit the Emirate of Dubai during the visit, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The President’s visit to the UAE is taking place on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Nepal and the UAE, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press statement issued this evening. Matters of mutual interests and bilateral cooperation will figure in the meetings. President Bhandari will interact with Nepali community at a programme to be organized by the Embassy of Nepal at Abu Dhabi.
President Bhandari will be accompanied by her daughter Nisha Kusum Bhandari, Supply Minister, Jayant Chand, Secretary at Ministry of Foreign Affairs Shanker Das Bairagi, foreign affairs expert to the Madan Kumar Bhattarai, Secretary at President’s Office Bhupendra Prasad Paudel and high-ranking officials of the President’s Office and Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as representatives of the media The President will return to Kathmandu on November 16.
