Chair Oli visits Langtang, Rasuwagadhi

Rasuwa, Dec 19 – The CPN (UML) chair and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today visited Langtang and Rasuwagadhi.

While addressing a programme, organized by the Gosainkunda Rural Municipality-2 Timure committee, chair Oli said that a new government would be formed very soon. He further committed to upgrading Rasuwagadhi-Kerung international road section adding that the Betrawati-Kerung road section will come into operation by upcoming April.

Former Prime Minister Oli also committed to developing Galchhi-Rasuwagadhi highway into a two-lane highway.

He stressed on managing the Rasuwa custom office by upgrading it into international standard soon. The Gosainkunda, Langtang, Rasuwagadhi among other tourist zones would be preserved and developed to welcome more tourists, he added.

On another note, chair Oli said that the railway line will be constructed along the Rasuwagadhi.

The visiting team comprised party general secretary Ishwar Pokharel, deputy general secretary Bishnu Poudel, standing committee members Shankar Pokharel and Subas Nembang and leader Janardan Dhakal.
