Kathmandu, March 9 – During a meeting with the Defense Minister Ishwor Pokhrel, the US Ambassador to Nepal, Alaina B Teplitz has said the US could extend support to Nepal in the hydropower and engineering sectors.
She also hailed the political change Nepal has made. According to her, Nepal’s peace process was exemplary to world.
On the occasion, Defense Minister Pokhrel said the continued assistance from US to Nepal was expected. Nepal government is for augmenting the mutual assistance and relations with the US.
The US Ambassador also appreciated the role Nepal Army played for the peace keeping through the UN peace keeping mission.
