Regulations of NGOs, INGOs to be made stern

Kathmandu, June 7 – The monitoring and regulations of the NGOs and INGOs is to be made stern.

A meeting between Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa and MIniter for Women, Children, Senior Citizens Thamamaya Thapa held Thursday took a decision to make the regulation act of the NGOs and INGOs tough since ill practices have gone up for lack of monitoring.

Likewise, the District Administration Offices would send the reports after the regulations of the NGOs and INGOs now onwards stating that there were some weaknesses in the existing regulations.

Similarly, the property details of the office bearers of INGOs and NGOs would be made public by making a procedure.
