Kathmandu, July 6 – The ruling Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) has expressed grief over the death of 19 persons in a tipper accident occurred at Syangboche of Mustang district on Friday.
Issuing a press statement CPN General Secretary Bishnu Poudel extended condolences to the families of departed workers and wished for speedy recovery of the injured ones.
The party has further urged all to be cautious in the journey during rainy season, as road accidents were reported increasing.
Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed grief over the death of 19 persons in a tipper accident occurred at Syangboche of Mustang district Friday.
Most of the victims were workers of a road construction in the district.
Issuing a press note, NC President and the former Prime Minister extended condolences to the families of departed workers and wished for speedy recovery of the injured ones.
Baglung, July 6 – Police have confirmed the identity of 18 persons killed in Mustang tipper accident that took place Friday afternoon.
A total of 19 persons were killed in the tipper accident at Syangboche of Lo Ghekar Damodarkunda Rural Municipality-3 in the district.
Those killed in the incident are Mahesh Roka, 19, Supman Roka, 28, Jitmaya Gharti, 21, Shontu Gharti, 32, Srijana Magar, 20, Rastre Roka, 23, and Rajkumar Pun, 32, of Rolpa district.
Similarly, other persons identified as dead are Bal Kumar Gharti, 30, Kabita Gharti Magar, 31, Shanti Thapa, 43, Suber Chaudhari, 35, and Kamal Budha, 25, of Dang district.
Likewise, Sujan Ghalan, 23, of Dhading district, Jiban Majhi, 20, of Sindhupalchowk district, Binti Gharti, 22, and Binita Gharti, 23, of Kailali, Kaman Singh Roka, 35, of Kapilbastu and Krishna Chhetri, 24, of Syangja. However, identity of remaining one dead in the incident is not ascertained yet.
The horrendous accident took place after the tipper Ba 2 Kha 2219 carrying construction workers of Beni-Korala road section fell off the road.
