Tourist in Pokhara
Kathmandu, Jan 8 – The number of tourists visiting Nepal increased noticeably this past year.
About 1,200 thousand tourists visited Nepal in 2018. According to the statistics of Nepal Tourism Board, 11,73,072 tourists visited the country.
The arrival rate is increased by 24.55 per cent in comparison to the previous year 2017.
Board CEO Deepak Raj Joshi has shared that the increased rate has created optimism in the tourism development sectors.
He added that it has created reliable foundation to meet the target of visit Nepal 2020.
