Kathmandu, Dec 11 – Visiting Commander In-Chief of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing has called on President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Monday.
During the meeting held at the Office of the President in Shital Niwas, matters relating to further enhancing the bilateral relations between Nepal and Myanmar were discussed during the meeting, according to a press statement released from the Office of the President.
On the occasion, Ambassador of Myanmar to Nepal, high-ranking officials of Defense Service of Myanmar and high-level officials from the Office of the President were also present.
Meanwhile, Commander In-Chief Hlaing called on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba at the latter’s residence in Baluwatar.
The issue of bilateral interests and cooperation were discussed, the PM’s personal secretariat has said.
