Govt meets agitating nurses’ demands

Kathmandu, Jan 18 – The government and agitating Nepal Nursing Council reached an 11-point agreement on Thursday.
The Council Chairperson Janaki KC shared that they agreed to end their protest after forging the deal with the government.
The deal includes creating vacancy of nurses in all kinds of schools and industries.
Similarly, they agreed to continue the service of two nurses sacked from the Human Organ Transplant Centre.
Likewise, they agreed to determine quota for the higher study to the nurses working in the remote areas and revise payment and various services to the all nurses working in various areas.

The Health Ministry on Wednesday had formed dialogue committee led by Chief Specialist Dr Binodman Shrestha.
